Fleurs: Needlepoint on Silk Gauze Finishes

Happy Friday Everyone!  The pace at LilyStitch is continuing to build momentum over many projects.  Here is one of my finishes this week.  It's a Fleur De Lis worked in Needlepoint on Silk Gauze (I don't have my notes handy but I think its 28 or 32 count).  I've finished it to be either a pin, necklace, or hanging object.  The center of the Fleur is worked in Japanese Gold and outlined in couched Kreinik braid.  Don't be surprised to see this Fleur show up in my online store one day...

I've beaded the outside using pearls - just love the pearl look!

I had the honour of presenting my local ANG chapter president with her President's pin this week.  It is a Texas Star Variation that worked in Silk on 48 count Silk Gauze.  It was finished with seed beads on the outside and may also be worn as a pin or necklace.  This is the third pin for a third president.

Off to finish up some more projects and get others in the hopper.  Have a great weekend everyone!

  1. This is absolutely, absolutely beautiful.

I've just been to your product site, and it's still under construction.

I DO so hope this is included as a kit. I'd love to do it :-)
