What is the design, again?

Uguisu reflects on Ume will take a little time so it's very easy to forget what the original design is.  In looking back on my old posts I am realizing that I do not have a great picture of it.  So here you go!  Sorry the lines are not darker but I hope you can get the jist of it.  I'll post better pictures in later posts so keep checking in.

Uguisu is Japanese for Warbler and Ume is Japanese for Plum.  Therefore in English my Mr. Warbler is checking out that curious object with Plum blossoms on it. I still need a name for Uguisu....  Any suggestions?  My sweet mother is cross stitching a Rooster for me that is f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s!  We've already named him and she's only been working on it for a couple of weeks.  I've been working on Uguishu since Summer '09.

  1. Dear Christa, I saw a picture of Urigusu Reflects Ume's Fan in Phoenix a couple of months ago while attending a class of Japanese Embroidery. It is very lovely. Is this your original design? If you purchased it would you be able to tell me who has it for sell? We only found you yesterday and were so glad to see the photo again. Waiting for your reply. 2. Thank you for your kind compliments, La Vera! This is my original design which perhaps I will share through instruction or LilyStitch one day.
