Cocoa Tells the Story

Hi Everyone,

Momma can't come to the blog right now.  She's way too tired from packing up the house.  Apparently, we're off for a BIG adventure the next few days so updates will be far and few between.  Who knows where we will finally lay our heads when the adventure is over.  Not even the crazy lady herself!

Stay tuned!  I'll make sure a post appears soon.

Happy Easter!!!

Hi Everyone, it's Cocoa.  Happy EASTER!!  Hope you let your pets enjoy those yummy Peeps or a least an Easter Egg.

It's be the coolest weekend.  This is me on our morning adventure yesterday, at my fav swimming hole on our hike.  Then I met a new friend named Rusty - I really like him.  Then I came home to watch Momma draw out several really Groovy canvases, pull threads, and then type (endlessly) on this computer.  Apparently, we're redesigning the website and blog to make is so much MORE.  Stay tuned, can't say anything 'cause I'm sworn to secrecy but she'll let you in on the fun soon.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Momma will be back tomorrow to showcase her blink project from this weekend.  Have the BEST WEEK EVER!

Its the BEST Time of Year! (Cocoa Speaking)

Hi Peeps!

Momma is away on another of her busy-ness trips so I am taking over the keyboard today to update everyone.  Don't worry.  She'll be home in short order and will update you on all her weekend antics (what was she thinking on that Pi-cklace thing anyway?)

I'm busy gathering all of my bones, digging the socks out of the laundry bin, and stocking up on Benydril for our annual trip to the woods.  I LOVE this time of year.  I get to go and see the grands, which is fine.  Better is that I get to see my friends Rosie, Pavelov, Tye, and Jack.  'Course hanging out with all the neices and nephews is fun, too.  I hear we get to not only eat lots of marshmellows that drop off sticks by the bonfire but also go on a couple of hikes.  I can't wait!  I can't wait!

Momma will update you on the Turkey project
(all I gotta say is that there have been a can of spray paint, beads and swearing involved).

Happy Monday!

Acorns

Happy Monday, EVERYONE!
It's me, Cocoa.
That's Jack, my nephew.
We're at Grandma and Grandpa's house this week.
Momma is on 'nother of her busyness trips
So we're having lots of fun in the woods.
Will you throw the ball for me?

Check out all of these really tasty acorns that are falling:

I helped Momma collect a bazillion of them
 over the weekend.
Actually, I was munching on them
 and she was collecting:

Momma is thinking about using them to do some sort of dying process
With threads or fabric.
It's not quiet clear but aparantly I don't get to eat them
(especially after I woke up w/ an upset tummy last night)
Grandma is going to freeze them for us until we go home to get the bugs out.

Momma drove up through the Nantahala Gorge on Sunday.
She said the colors were just lovely.
That crazy lady just went on and on about the tapestry she's going to do one day
of the landscapes from the Blue Ridge Mountains....

Yah, Yah!
I just want her to finish that Compass!

She'll be back on Friday with an update on that.
