Hello from the Blue Ridge! Above is the view from our glorious cabin that I am enjoying while writing this post. Vaction 2011 is officially here.
The first few days will be spent in solitude with Cocoa… Cocoa and I setup the JE frame first thing:
Then we unpacked Nessie and MR Fleur. I also have with me many other WIPs as well as a list of "maybes". We'll see how much gets done. ;)
On my first day I did manage to wipe out several administrative type of things as well as stitch about 4 petals of Chrysanthemum and two leaves on Sake.

Where the heck in the Blue Ridge Mountains are you?!

Hi Jane! I'm south of you, near Asheville, NC. Are you finding any good needle art places? Just found a few bead stores plus the fiber arts guild. Argh!
ReplyDeleteWaving back across the beautiful Blue Ridge.
If you are near Asheville, (my old stomping grounds) check out Sandy's X stitch in Hendersonvile....lots of fibers and goodies.
ReplyDeleteSadly, I am waaaaaay north of you, probably at least a six hour drive, if not more. You can't get from here, you know.
ReplyDeleteBut Pat knows all the great shops in the area, since she just moved closer to her family from the Asheville area. I hope you get to visit Sandy's Cross Stitch!
